The murder accused, Thulani Kopolo (33) appeared before the East London Magistrates’ Court as he is accused of beating to death his girlfriend, Linda Ruga (29) at Cambridge location recently. The deceased was six months pregnant at the time of this brutal assault and ended up suffering a miscarriage due to the injuries and admitted at hospital where she was discharged and later died at shortly after that.
The case has been postponed to 7 June 2019, for further investigations and the accused is remanded in custody.
