The Anti Gang Unit arrested a 28 year old suspect wanted in an attempted murder which allegedly took place on 1 February 2019.
It is alleged that at about 20:30 the victim (29) and his friends were walking in Capulet Street in Booysens Park when an unknown person approached them and fired several shots at them. The victim sustained gunshot wounds to the head, left upper leg and left thigh and was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
On 26 November 2019 at about 08:50, the suspect was arrested at a house in Steenbras Street in Booysens Park. He is expected to appear in court soon.
