Police arrested two suspects for robbery at Zizeni Location outside Stutterheim on 30 November 2018. It is alleged that the victim was coming from the bank after making a withdrawal. Two suspects approached him and drew firearms and took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene with the victim’s vehicle.
The vehicle was then found abandoned at Amabhele Location outside Stutterheim.
Police attended to the scene and the victim pointed out the suspects when they were returning to the vehicle at Amabhele Location. They were immediately arrested. No further recoveries were made.
They will face a charge of robbery when they appear in the Stutterheim Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 3 December 2018.
