On 4 August 2021 at about 08:45, three unknown males visited a house in Stokwe Street, New Brighton, making enquiries about where Mtunzi Kondile, a 50-year-old male is.
After pointing them to his outside room and going back into the house, his sister heard several gunshots and saw the three suspects running out of the premises.
It was then discovered that Mtunzi was shot and wounded several times in his upper body. He passed away on the scene.
A murder case was opened at New Brighton SAPS.
