Police are hot on the trail in search of suspect/s responsible for the murder of a 45-year-old man who was fatally wounded at Nomzamo on the night of 19 February 2020, at about 20:30.

Police were summoned to the scene after the community allegedly heard some gunshots in one of the Spaza shops. On arrival they found the victim with bullet wounds in his upper body. The motive is not yet known however police investigations continue.

Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Liziwe Ntshinga condemned the gruesome murder and pleaded with the community to work with police by sharing information.
