Detectives from SAPS Kwanobuhle arrested a 39 year old male last night, 1 September 2018, on a charge of murder, following the senseless murder of a 36 year old female. It is alleged that the victim was taken to a hospital in Kwanobuhle last night, at about 19:00, with a stab wound to her neck.
The victim was allegedly stabbed by her boyfriend, after they had an argument. The reason for the murder is unknown at this stage. The victim, Bulelwa Maseti (36) succumbed to her injuries.
Detectives from SAPS Kwanobuhle and forensics combed for clues and followed up on leads to ensure that the offender was brought to book. This arrest is in line with the organisational objectives of the SAPS.
The 39 year old male suspect is due to appear in the Kwanobuhle Magistrate’s court on Monday, 3 September 2018 on a charge of murder. The acting Cluster Commander of Uitenhage, Brig Ronald Koll has hailed the team for the effective manner in which they executed their duties.
