On Monday, 8 November 2021 at about 13:30, it is alleged that an unknown man stormed into a house in Beaufort Street, Kenton on Sea, and attacked an elderly man (82) with fists.
It is further said that a suspect made off with a laptop, a cellphone and cash.
Police arrested a man (33), and recovered all the stolen items within minutes after the incident.
The elderly victim was treated for minor injuries.
A 33-year-old suspect is due to appear in the Kenton on Sea magistrate’s court on Wednesday, 10 November 2021 on charges of house robbery.
