Police are investigating a case of business robbery after three men allegedly robbed a clothing store in High Street, Makhanda shortly after opening for business on Sunday morning 28 November 2021.
At about 09:20, it is alleged that three men, at least one of them armed with a firearm, stormed into a clothing store in High Street, Makhanda and threatened the three employees while demanding money.
It is said that the suspects managed to steal an undisclosed amount of cash, cellphones and fragrances. It is believed that a Nissan bakkie was used as a getaway vehicle.
Police are urging anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact the nearest police station. The information may also be shared via Crime Stop 08600 10111.
