The South African Police Service in Kwanobuhle have launched a manhunt for two suspects who allegedly robbed a 56 year old woman in her house in Bhuda Crescent, Holomisa area in Kwanobuhle just after 07:00 on 1 May 2019. It is alleged that the complainant and her husband returned from an ATM after they withdrew a substantial amount of cash.

Two suspects entered the house and one pointed the couple with a firearm and demanded the cash. The suspects took the cash and the car keys of their blue Toyota Corolla and fled with the vehicle from the scene. No shots were fired during the robbery and detectives were summoned to the scene where they followed up on all possible leads.

The vehicle was found abandoned soon afterwards.

Police want to warn community members who visit financial institutions to be aware of their surroundings and to be alert of any suspicious vehicle/s or suspects who might follow clients after withdrawing cash. Detectives are investigating a case of house robbery.
