Gelvandale detectives are on the hunt for a suspect/s allegedly involved in the gruesome killing of a 26-year-old Korsten woman, Lawren Shernice Jonathan.
It is alleged that on Friday, 7 August 2020, at about 07:45 a person was walking near an open space in Thornton Street when he noticed the body of a female lying in the field. According to the woman’s family, she left home last night, 6 August 2020, at about 19:30 to visit a friend in Shauderville. She left the friend’s house (time unknown) and never returned home.
Her body with multiple stab wounds was discovered on the morning of 7 august 2020. The circumstances surrounding the brutal killing is unknown. Suspect/s are also unknown.
