Police have arrested a 45 year old man for the murder of a man (43) in Kirkwood on 22 February 2019. At around 2am, it is alleged that a homeowner was sleeping in the bedroom in his house when someone forced open a window and stormed inside.
It is believed that a violent scuffle broke out between a homeowner and an intruder. An intruder sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he later died. Police are following due processes to inform family relatives.
A 45 year old suspect was arrested and is due to appear at the Kirkwood Magistrate’s Court on Monday 25 February 2019, on charges of murder.
