In the early hours of 4 November 2018, whilst on patrol in the Peddie CBD, a night shift member spotted a male person opening a door that leads to the surgery. He suspected that this person was breaking into the premises and quickly mobilized other members.
The premises were surrounded by members and searched with a K9 and a suspect was found inside a doctor’s surgery. The suspect aged 33 face a charge of business break in and will appear in the local court during the week.
Investigations to establish his involvement in other crimes will also be undertaken.
