A total of four suspects aged between 26 and 32 years were arrested by Mthatha police in Ngangelizwe on 26 December 2018 at about 03h30.
They were arrested following a business burglary at York Road, Jet stores at about 01h00 where a number of cell phones were stolen. The arrest follows intensive investigations during which police acted on information and proceed to a house where the suspects were subsequently arrested.
Cell phones to the estimated value of R2 000 000 an amount of cash R11 000 and electric appliances were recovered and confiscated. Their Toyota and an Isuzu bakkies that were used during the commission of crime were also confiscated.
