The Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Liziwe Ntshinga commended the swift investigation which led to the arrest of three suspects, aged between 22 and 30 years linked to the abduction and murder of a 10-year-old girl on 10 June 2017.
It is alleged that she was abducted at Misty Mount near Mthatha at the school she attended on 09 June 2017 and was found murdered at a nearby forest. The suspects will appear in the Tsolo Magistrate Court on 12 June 2017 for abduction, murder and possession of illegal firearm and ammunition.
“Crimes against women and children continue to be a priority for SAPS and bringing suspects involved in such crimes to book is in line with our Back to Basics policing approach to thoroughly and responsively investigate crime”, she said
