On 22 June 2018, from 14:00 till 18:00 an Inter Provincial Operation roadblock was conducted at Thaba Lesoba Zastron Road, at Makhetheng junction.
High visibility patrols were also executed during the same period in the Town. Various role players including SAPS, SANDF and the traffic departments of Eastern Cape and Free State participated.
The following successes were achieved: 451 Vehicles searched, 92 summons issued, 2 warrant of arrest, 9 suspensions and fines issued totaling R26 300-00.
The focus were on possession of dagga , driving under the influence and other traffic related offenses.
The Cluster Commander commended the members for their sterling efforts and extended a appreciation to Chief Cupido for availing their team under the supervision of Mr Moyakhe for their joint efforts in maintaining law, order peace and security.
