Sterkspruit Detectives together with members of Crime Prevention successfully arrested several suspects for housebreaking and theft.

On 15 September 2018, the detectives arrested a 47 year old suspect at Tienbank when they followed up information during their investigation. An electric stove, flat screen TV and amplifier with an estimated value of R 8000-00 was recovered. The suspect was arrested for burglary residence.

On Sunday, 16 september 2018, the detectives together with Crime Prevention once again made two arrests at Tienbank. The two suspects age 27 and 28 were arrested for housebreaking and theft and two TV’s and a laptop were recovered with an estimated value of R 15000-00.

The suspects will appear today in the Sterkspruit Magistrate court.

The Cluster Commander Brig Trevor Mey commended the members on the successful arrests and recoveries. The thorough and responsive investigation of every crime is one of our “Back to Basics” priorities and the effective and efficient investigation of the cases are applauded.
