Police request the communities assistance in the arrest of three unknown gunmen that burnt down a 40-year-old woman’s house at Upper Tabase on 14 September 2020 at about 00:10.

It is alleged that the suspects who were all armed with rifles and a petrol bomb, kicked the door open and asked for her husband who was not present at that moment. It is further alleged that they burnt the house using the petrol bomb. The suspects further proceeded to the homestead’s kraal where they slaughtered six sheep and two lambs.

The woman and the kids managed to escape unhurt.

Anyone with information may contact D/Col Wele Nani on 079 509 0756 or may contact the nearest police station.

“We will hunt until we get them. They must be arrested and face the might of the law. We appeal to our community to work with us,” said the District Commissioner, Major General David Kanuka.
