Graaff-Reinet Detectives arrested 37-year-old Elliot Alam for death of Luthando Innocent Sam.
Luthando Innocent Sam succumbed to injuries after he had been stabbed in New location, Umasizakhe, Graaff-Reinet, in the early hours of Tuesday, 23 February 2021.
Soon after a murder docket was opened Graaff-Reinet detectives conduct a thorough investigation and linked the suspect to the murder.
The 37-year-old suspect appeared before the Graaff-Reinet Magistrates Court on 24 March 2021. He will make his next court appearance on 31 March 2021.
The suspect will remain in custody.
Graaff Reinet Detective Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Nhlanhla Mpanza commended the Detectives for their investigation and the arrest of the murder suspect.
