The Provincial Gang Investigation Unit is on the hunt for suspects after the fatal shooting of two males in Helenvale last night, 14 July 2018.
According to police information, at about 20:00 Clevon Booysen(26) and Chester Baartman(20) were standing in front of a house in Pienaar Street when they were shot at by unknown suspects. Both victims died on the scene. The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage however police believe that the incident is gang related.
Police is appealing to the community of Helenvale to assist them with any information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect/s.
