Four suspects between the ages of 19 and 23 were arrested for the murder of a 35 year old victim that was found lying in an open field behind Polar Park, Elliot, on on the night of 2 September 2017.
He had eight stab wounds over his body and was allegedly hit with a spade over his head.
He walked home alone after he visited his friend. The exhibits were confiscated.
The suspects will appear in the Elliot Periodic Court on 6 September 2017.
Barkly East SAPS also arrested two suspects for assault and recovered the weapon used. This is in line with our Back to Basics priority of thorough and responsive investigation of every crime! The Cluster Commander Col Gezani commended the members on the arrest!
