Butterworth Police arrested three women aged 22, 30, 45 and a 22 year old man for possession of drugs. The man and a 22 year old woman were arrested at Nkanini Village, Butterworth on Wednesday 11 July 2018 at about 17:00.
They were found with dagga that has weight of 5,40kg with estimated street value of R6, 000.The two women aged 30 and 45 were arrested at Skiet Informal Settlement, Butterworth on Wednesday 11 July 2018 at about 17:30. They were found in possession of 120 mandrax tablets with estimated street value of R3, 000.
All the suspects will appear before the Butterworth Magistrate Court on Thursday 12 July 2018 on charges of possession of drugs and possession of dagga.
