Mthatha police are looking for information that might lead to the arrest of three gunmen that raped four learners aged between 19 and 21, at their rented rooms at Mqhekezweni in Bityi today.

It is alleged that 3 unknown gunmen fired some shots, broke the windows, kicked the door open and then forcefully took the four victims and raped them in the dongas.

Rape cases have been opened for investigation and anyone with information to contact D/Captain Mshumi on 082 442 0585 or Crime Stop at 08600 10111.

The Acting Cluster Commander Brigadier Mandlakhe Twala criticised and discouraged the incident and said “We will hunt you and you will face the law. Nobody has got a right to terrorise women and children.”
