Police detectives have arrested four suspects in connection with the murder of a 39-year-old woman, whose body was discovered with gunshot wounds in an open space in Mparane Location, Matatiele, on 6 May 2026.
Following investigative work by a team of detectives assigned to the case, in collaboration with community members including anti-stock theft structures, the four men were arrested on 19 May 2026 from different localities in Matatiele.
The suspects, aged between 24 and 35, are scheduled to appear in the Matatiele Magistrate’s Court on 20 May 2026 on a charge of murder.
