The former communications director of Nelson Mandela Bay municipality, Roland Williams, has been sentenced to 36 months of correctional supervision. He has been fined a further R30 000 and has to pay R96 000 to Sanlam.
This follows an insurance claim that was fraudulently filed and what he did in collaboration with Rena Rungan of V and R Motors.
