Butterworth Police who were on patrol duties found a foetus wrapped with green towel along King Street, Butterworth on Saturday, 15 June 2019 at about 17:00. The gender of the foetus could not be established as it was taken to a state mortuary.
An inquest docket has been opened for further investigation. Anyone with information about the suspect is requested to contact Butterworth Police Station on 047 401 1100 or 047 401 1124.
