A farm murder took place on Monday 25 October 2021, at about 03:30, at a vegetable project farm near Bersheba, Kirkwood, in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. A 68-year-old farm manager was attacked by an unknown number of attackers. The incident was reported to police and upon arrival police discovered a man with open wounds in his upper body
The victim was transported to a local hospital to receive medical attention where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The motive for the attack is unknown at this stage.
Police opened a case of murder for further investigation.
