A 22 year old suspect of the Ludwig farm murder case will remain in custody until Friday, 2 November 2018 when he is due to reappear in the Joubertina Magistrate’s Court for a bail application after a brief appearance at the same court on 15 October 2018.

Witbooi is accused of attacking and killing a retired cattle farmer, Norman Ludwig (69) on Friday, 5 October 2018, in his Valleisig farm about 10km outside of Joubertina. Witbooi was nabbed on Friday, 12 October in Louterwater, Joubertina by a team of detectives assigned to the case.
