A farm attack took place on 23 May 2022, at 18:00 on a smallholding near Kariega in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. A young couple had just arrived home and as they entered the house they were confronted by three suspects who were busy ransacking the home.
The couple immediately fled out the house but were chased down by the attackers and dragged back into their home.
The couple were assaulted and tied up.
The attackers then fled the scene with numerous household items. The couple managed to untie themselves and raised the alarm.
Local police are investigating the robbery but there have been no arrests.
