A farm attack took place on 10 September 2021, at 19:45 on a smallholding in Seaview, Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha), in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Three attackers entered a home in Seaview Road and suddenly appeared from a bedroom door and confronted the occupants in the house.

The complainant (48), her boyfriend and mother were watching TV when one of the suspects pointed a firearm at them.

When the complainant activated the panic button, she was assaulted by one of the suspects.

The suspects ransacked the house and fled with cash, jewelry, cellphones, laptop and a camera.

Gqeberha K9 unit immediately responded and searched the nearby bushes. Two cellphones belonging to the occupants were recovered.

A case of house robbery is currently under investigation.

The South African Police Service once again appeal to residents in gated complexes and on smallholdings to be more security conscious and to ensure that doors and windows are locked at all times.

Police are appealing to anyone who can provide any information relating to the whereabouts of the suspects to contact SAPS Kabega Park Detectives on 082 787 7448 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
