A farm attack took place on 13 December 2020, at 09:00, on Tweeling farm, in the Malmation area of Kirkwood, in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Anna Conradie Potgieter (80) was laying on her bed when five armed attackers entered the room with her husband, who had been stabbed in his arm.
Her husband was then forced to lay on the floor and she was forced to sit on on the floor. The attackers demanded cash and to know the location of the safe. The couple cooperated and handed the sake keys over. A licenced firearm and ammunition was taken. They then ransacked the house.
The attackers fled the scene in a Corsa Lite white in Colour without inflicting any further harm to the victims. All the necessary roleplayers attended to the scene but there have been no arrests.The couple were severely traumatised by the attack but there is no other information available at this stage.
