A farm attack took place on 1 August 2019, in Addo, Eastern Cape province. 24 Farm workers were attacked and held up by nine armed attackers. Whilst there were no serious injuries, the attackers robbed the workers of their cash and cell phones.
The police are investigating. There is no other information available at this stage.
