Elliot K9 unit arrests suspect with a multitude of stolen items

On 27 september 2019, members of the Elliot K9 Unit and Crime Intelligence arrested a 22 year old male for possession of stolen property, possession of dagga to the value of R6497-00 and dealing in dagga in Greenfields, Maclear.

The members acted swiftly upon receiving information that the occupant of house was selling dagga. The suspect’s house search revealed stolen cellphones and other electronic devices. All property has been seized and awaiting complainants to identify. The suspect will appear in court soon.

Elliot Cluster Commander, Colonel Mpho Gezani, has commended the members for their exceptional efforts. “Well done to my members for their continuous efforts in bring criminals to book. Their commitment to serving the community of Elliot has never gone unnoticed”, she praised.
