Valuable information by the community members led Dutywa detectives to arrest a 53-year-old female for business burglary on the night of 6 May 2022.

The arrest comes after Police investigated burglaries that occurred in local schools.

Through investigation they received an information about the employee that stole the photocopy machine from the school.

They swiftly responded and went to her home at Nkanini Location, Ndabakazi outside Butterworth and recovered the photocopy machine that worth R30 000.00.

The suspect was immediately arrested and charged for Business burglary and will appear at Dutywa Magistrate Court on Monday 9 May 2022.
