Operation Fiela closed a drug den masquerading as a hair salon and also seized 9 kilograms of dagga with a street value of over R18 000 and arrested a 46 year old man for possession of dagga in Jeffrey’s Bay today.

During the operation, two business premises were fined for operating without trading permits. Two foreign nationals were nabbed for contravening immigration laws. The suspects are due to appear in Humansdorp Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 10 September 2018 for their respective charges.

Humansdorp Cluster Commander, Brigadier John Lebok commended officials from various departments. “This operation is continuing and several of these drug posts are being closed in several areas with the information shared by the community, added Brig Lebok.
