Dalasile Police is investigating murder of a 31 year old woman. It is alleged that the woman was last seen by both her mother and father-in-law on Wednesday, 8 January 2020 at about 19:00. She left both in-laws to watch television.

Her body was found on the morning of Thursday 9 January 2020, at about 09:00, in an open veld already passed away. The deceased had upper body injuries. The motive behind the murder is not known. The murder was committed at Ngxabane Locality, Ntibane Village, Ngcobo.

No suspect/s have been arrested so far. Anyone who can assist with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect/s is kindly requested to contact Dalasile Police Station at 047 5408817 or Crime Stop 08600 10111. The information will be treated confidentially.

Acting Eastern Cape Police Provincial Commissioner, Major General Andries Swart condemned the murder of the defenceless woman. He said that police will work around the clock to arrest the perpetrator/s. The identity of the deceased will be withheld until all the relatives of the deceased are officially informed of her murder.
