The determination of hard working members of the SAPS yielded positive results, this after two suspects were nabbed for dealing in drugs in Burgersdorp, Mzanomhle location.
It is alleged that on Saturday, 3 July 2021 members of the Joe Gqabi Operational Command center were on duty performing duties for Covid-19 level 4 monitoring and intensifying high visibility patrols.
Members acted swiftly on a citizen tip off alleging that there were suspects’ busy dealing with drugs.
Upon arriving at the identified house at Koloba Street, they met two males, after searching the suspects they found three 3 straws of crystal meth and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Both suspects were arrested and detained at Burgersdorp police holding cells.
The duo will appear in court soon.
The acting District Commissioner Brigadier Rudolph Adolph commended the members who affected the arrests.
