A flying squad constable swam across a running river chasing a Stock Theft suspect on 26 March 2019, in Tyutyu Location outside Bhisho. This follows after Flying Squad members received an information about a slaughtered cow at Yellow Wood Farm outside King Williams Town.

Investigation led Police to the arrest of seven Suspects, four males aged between 23 and 38 years and three juveniles aged between 8 and 11 years. Juveniles were later handed to Social Workers for assistance and four adult suspects were detained.

It is alleged that the suspects slaughtered the stolen cow and sent young boys to collect the rest of the meat from the farm. It is alleged that the cow was slaughtered on Monday 25 March 2019, by the elder suspects and they took some of the meat with them.

Then the following day they sent the young boys to go fetch the rest of the meat from the farm. The Police caught the boys when they were from the farm with the meat. On investigation Police proceeded to the house at Tyutyu Location, Bhisho where the elder suspects stay.

On arrival Police arrested three suspects and the other one ran away when he saw Police members. Police gave chase and while running the suspect swam in the river between Sikhobeni and Tyutyu Locations, Bhisho and Constable Mhloma from Flying Squad follow him and swam in the river in order to apprehend the suspect. They took him to the house where they recovered cooked meat, skins and inner parts of the cow.
