Couple attacked in their home, Jeffreys Bay

With our Back to Basics approach to policing and in an attempt to effectively address trio crimes, a team of detectives are currently following up on all possible leads following a house robbery in Drommedaris Street, Jeffreys Bay at about 03:30 on Saturday morning, 19 May 2018.

It is alleged that three unknown males forcefully entered the premises and threatened the complainant (53) and her male friend (63). They assaulted the 53 year old female with an object, by hitting her over her head. The suspects then took an undisclosed amount of money, jewellery and clothing and fled on foot.

The complainant was taken to a local hospital where she received medical treatment.

Fighting crime is a shared responsibility therefore police are urging the community to be vigilant and alert to their surroundings and report any suspicious behavior immediately to the SAPS.
