Couple arrested for dealing in drugs, Ndevana

Police members arrested two suspects for dealing in drugs at Gugulethu extension in Ndevana area. While Police were busy with their joint operation with other nearby Police Stations, they received information about a couple that is selling drugs.

At about 13:30, they then proceeded to a house and on arrival they searched and found TIK, sixty eight bompies of dagga, thirty four mandrax tablets and a loose dagga in a black plastic bag and all to the estimated street value of R5 000.

Thorough investigation led Police to found an undisclosed amount of cash inside the house. The two suspects aged 27 and 31 year, were immediately arrested and charged for dealing in drugs.

The duo will be appearing in the Zwelitsha Magistrate Court.
