While the South African Police Service vigorously perseveres to root out corruption within law enforcement, there are still those that choose to act on the wrong side of the law.

During a two day crime intelligence driven sting operation involving various police units, three suspects were arrested in Port Elizabeth on charges of fraud and corruption.

The Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Liziwe Ntshinga has welcomed these arrests and indicated that the SAPS in the Eastern Cape will continue in clamping down on any corrupt actions. We remain resolute in eradicating corruption both in the public and private sector in our effort to eradicate any form of criminality.
