At about 06:30 this morning, 12 July 2018, two people were shot in Missionvale while waiting for public transport.
Details surrounding the incident is unknown and police are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder.
It is alleged that Bonani Momo (40) and another commuter was standing at the bus stop when shots were fired at them. Momo sustained a fatal wound to his head while the other person was shot in his back.
Motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.
Police is appealing to the community to assist them with any information relating to the incident. Information may be communicated to D/Lt Col Johan Christians at SAPS Algoa Park on 041 4011061.
