Centane police arrested a 36 year old man for the alleged murder of his wife aged 34. It is alleged that the victim was stabbed on her upper body by the suspect on Friday, 2 November 2018 at about 11:40 at Tshoveni Locality, Qoboqobo Village, Centane.
The victim was rushed to Butterworth hospital where she died on arrival. The suspect handed himself to Centane police and was arrested for murder. The motive for the murder is not clear at this point in time.
The suspect is due to appear before the Centane Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 5 November 2018 on a murder charge. The deceased was identified as Nondumiso Nombasa Sigodoyi.
