On Saturday 30 March 2019, K9 members followed up a positive information after a case of business burglary was opened. A 22 year old man was arrested after he was found with two laptops. He also went to another homestead to point out others. In that house two laptops, laptop bags, netball kit and two soccer balls were recovered.
He will appear before court soon.
In other incident Port st Johns police arrested a 39 year old man for possession of unlicensed firearm and Ammunition. Police followed up a positive information which led them to recover a 9 mm pistol, two magazines and sixty three live rounds.
