On 3 December 2018, during the evening crime intelligence information were followed up by the different SAPS units including the OCC, K9 and Crime Intelligence and they managed to arrest another two suspects at Tembisa locality believed to be involved in the farm attack that occurred at Alfalfa farm in Burgersdorp where an eighty one year old man was assaulted and tied up along with his farm workers.
The vehicle that was used to travel to the farm, a white opel corsa was recovered as well as a laptop, video camera and liquor.
The four suspect’s three males age 32, 34 and 36 and a female 55 years is in police custody.
The Cluster Commander Brig Trevor Mey commended the combined effort from all the units and the community’s co-operation that made the successful arrests possible.
