Boyfriend arrested: Missing Storms River woman found in shallow grave

A 38 year old man was taken into police custody after he led police to a shallow grave in Winkelhaak Farm in Kareedouw where the decomposed body of an alleged missing woman was discovered.

At about 14:00 on 14 November 2018, the suspect who is the boyfriend of the missing woman pointed out to police the spot where he allegedly buried the woman.

The body is believed to be that of a Storms River woman, Jacqueline Adams (28). According to police information, Adams occasionally visited the suspect in Kareedouw. She was last seen alive about two weeks ago.

Post mortem and DNA analysis will be conducted to determine whether the recovered body is that of Adams
The arrested suspect is due to appear in the Humansdorp magistrates’ court on Friday, 16 November 2018 on a charge of murder.
