During last week and the weekend of 10 and 11 November 2018, information was gathered and in a combined intelligence driven operation between Crime Intelligence, Vispol, CPU, K9 and the Detectives of Aliwal North and Maletswai successful arrests could be made.
Two suspects both 21 years of age could be linked to several property related crimes as well as contact crimes. Their arrests will have a big impact on crime in the Aliwal North and Maletswai Policing area.
Stolen items that were sold at different areas in town were recovered and included a Plasma TV, DVD Player, cash, cell phones and blankets.
The Acting Cluster Commander, Col Mpho Rabele commended the members on the linkage and successful arrests.
