Quick response of K9 Unit led to arrest of a suspect within an hour after committed an offence. Members of the Aliwal North K9 Unit, Capt Jantjies, Cst Lange and Cst Bushula, were on duty busy conducting high visibility patrols in town.
They responded to a call of theft and used the complainant’s company tracking device to trace a stolen scanner, stolen from the courier company in town. The quick response of the members led to the recovery of the stolen scanner and arresting of the suspect.
The company manager applauded the swift reaction of members. The suspect will appear in court soon.
