66-Year-old assaulted in farm attack in Port Elizabeth

On Wednesday morning, December 14, three armed suspects gained entry to a farm situated in the Van Stadens area, Nelson Mandela Bay District, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.

The three suspects broke into the house while the victim slept and was woken up by three armed men who demanded cash and firearms. The owner a 66-year-old male was hit on the head. While the suspects ransacked the house, the owner managed to activate an alarm.

Before the South African Police arrived, the suspects fled with a television set, and two mobile phones.

The owner was treated for head injuries and traumatized from the incident.

The Police are investigating an armed robbery case and the suspects are still at large.
