More than fifty suspects have been arrested around King Williams Town Cluster following the crime operation that was conducted in the policing precinct over the weekend of 19 and 20 January 2019.
Police are continuing with these operations around the King Williams Town area and neighboring areas decreasing the crime rate. The Police are also appealing to the communities to work with them by reporting all crime in their areas and they will catch all those breaking the law.
All of these suspects will appear in different magistrates’ courts.
King William’s Town Cluster Commander, Brigadier Luntu Ngubelanga, said police will make it a priority in ensuring that communities live in safe and secure environments.
“Police will continue to intensify visibility and will conduct stop and search operations which will result in more dangerous weapons being confiscated”, he added.
