on 17 October 2017, Mount Frere Regional Court sentenced Matiwane Malibongwe (23), Sithokozisi Thula Godla (25), Mthokozisi Nelson Gqoli (26) and Sebenzile Meaning Rasmen (28) to undergo 18 years imprisonment for Business Robbery which occurred at Lutateni A/A, Gemiston Location on 17 March 2015 at about 15:15 in the afternoon.
It is alleged that these four men entered a Pakistan Shop where they met a 41 year old Pakistan who was the owner of the shop. It is further alleged that they demanded money, assaulted the victim and took some of R11000.00 and disappeared.
Swift and thoroughly investigation by Detective Constable S. Ntando leaded to the arrest and conviction of the accused.
Cluster Commander Brigadier Mtutuzeli Mtukushe welcomed the sentence and commended job well done by the detectives.
